Price

The ex works price of the standard SQ1 Steam Quality Test Kit with threaded fittings and components is GB£1650.00. If the test is to be carried out on a clean/pure steam system and tri-clamp connections are required, a sanitary version is available at GB£1788.00. Our costs exclude VAT (UK only) and the delivery cost. This will vary from location to location and is based on a package of 40 x 50 x20 cm weighing 10 kg. Test Elbows

We can also provide test elbows for clean/pure steam applications in 1/2", 1" 1 ½", 2", 3" and 4" versions. These cost GB£532 for 1/2", 3/4" and 1", GB£586 for 1 1/2", GB£742 for 2". Accessories - Electronic Balance

An electronic balance (0 - 3000g/discrimination 0.1g) is required for the dryness test, in addition to the test kit supplied. While most facilities have these available, the presence of a balance at the testing location significantly increases productivity.

We supply a lightweight, rechargeable battery/mains, rugged precision compact balance specifically for this application.

 Accessories - Handheld Temperature Meter/Logger and probes

While any data logger (Kaye or similar) may be used for the steam quality testing, we can also supply a dual input hand held temperature meter/logger with two 300 mm long stainless steel mineral insulated probes, as two temperature inputs are required for the superheat and dryness value tests. The thermometer offers a fast response and laboratory accuracy (0·05% + 0·3°C) in a rugged hand held test tool. Has logging facility with Max/Min/Average calculations which makes it ideal for this application.

Optional Extra - Temperature Meter and Sensor Calibration Certification

Calibration of the meter and both probes, as a system calibration, traceable to UKAS (www.ukas.org/) will cost and additional GB£240.00. Delivery: Two weeks.

Ordering Instructions

We will be pleased to accept your orders/instructions by e-mail, fax or mail at the contact address below.

 Orders/Instructions must include:

 1.  Detailed delivery address including any post/ZIP code where applicable and a contact name with telephone and/or fax number. If we are provided with an e-mail address, we will notify on shipment with tracking number to allow delivery progress to be seen on  www.ups.com 

2.   Invoice address and contact information if different from the delivery address.

3.   Purchase order number else unique identifier to allow accounts enquiries to be progressed.

4.   EU purchasers must provide their VAT number - Our VAT Number is GB614 7057 51.

5.   Any special delivery requirements. If you wish us to use your shipper, full contact details must be provided, together with your account number.

6.   Please note that our payment terms require payment in GB£ net of all costs. This requires the purchaser to specifically advise their bank that they elect to pay all transaction charges and not just those associated with their own bank.

7.   Additional charges may result for some shipments due to the need for documents to be sent by courier, Certificates of Origin etc. Our price includes the provision of Commercial Invoices only and we ask that you advise of any other specific requirements prior to placing you order and we will resubmit a quotation. Failure to do this will result in shipment delays as we will not ship without agreed payment terms for these additional items.
