Price The ex works price of the standard SQ1 Steam Quality Test Kit with threaded fittings and components is GB£1650.00. If the test is to be carried out on a clean/pure steam system and tri-clamp connections are required, a sanitary version is available at GB£1788.00. Our costs exclude VAT (UK only) and the delivery cost. This will vary from location to location and is based on a package of 40 x 50 x20 cm weighing 10 kg. Elbows We can also provide test elbows for clean/pure steam applications in 1/2", 1" 1 ½", 2", 3" and 4" versions. These cost GB£532 for 1/2", 3/4" and 1", GB£586 for 1 1/2", GB£742 for 2". Accessories - Electronic Balance An electronic balance (0 - 3000g/discrimination 0.1g) is required for the dryness test, in addition to the test kit supplied. While most facilities have these available, the presence of a balance at the testing location significantly increases productivity. Accessories - Handheld Temperature Meter/Logger and probes
While any data logger (Kaye or similar) may be used for the steam quality testing, we can also supply a dual input hand held temperature meter/logger with two 300 mm long stainless steel mineral insulated probes, as two temperature inputs are required for the superheat and dryness value tests. The thermometer offers a fast response and laboratory accuracy (0·05% + 0·3°C) in a rugged hand held test tool. Has logging facility with Max/Min/Average calculations which makes it ideal for this application. Price GB£508.63 plus shipping. Delivery: ex-stock Optional Extra - Temperature Meter and Sensor Calibration Certification Calibration of the meter and both probes, as a system calibration, traceable to UKAS (www.ukas.org/) will cost and additional GB£240.00.
